Welcome to the official website of the Karnataka State Deputy Range Forest Officers’ Association.
The association which was earlier known as Karnataka State Foresters’ association was formed in the year 1989 to look into the well being of the Foresters, the prime cadre and the frontline staff of the department. The association came up with agendas pertaining to the needs and demands of the foresters’ of the state.
Deputy Range Forest Officers ( Foresters), serve the department and the public under various circumstances. Yet their demands and grievances were not entirely represented. To facilitate such unity and a platform to lend support to the demands and also to bond amongst themselves, the union was formed.
The prime objectives of the union being- upliftment, support, and enhanced service to forests through exchange of knowledge.
The association today, has accomplished many of their demands through constant workups, and struggle. This website provides a general info of how the association came up and did, along with providing way for mutual interaction of its brethren through out the state.
